I got into Television late. It was only in the past year that I got Marquee Moon and realized that so much of the music I listen to owe this album.
Even if this is your first time listening to the song “Marquee Moon”, it will sound familiar to you. There are hooks, grooves and rhythms in here that are everywhere in the 34 years that have followed its release.
It’s the missing reference in LCD Soundsystem’s “Losing My Edge”
